Day 14 - Dartmouth to Padstow

When we left Dartmouth the weather was fine, in fact we even had sunshine in the morning. We set off for Cornwall with Polperro as our first port of call.

Denise found Polperro delightful, just what she expected a quaint Cornish fishing village to be. We spent some time here of course, and reluctantly headed back to the car park to continue our journey. We didn’t have enough time to head further south and the weather seemed to be finer in the north of Cornwall so we set off for the Atlantic Coast

The sky brightened as we turned north and by the time we reached Padstow it was even starting to be warm. We walked around the lovely little harbour to the Information Centre and booked a B&B. It’s a delightful little cottage with a teeny room. We just think it’s lovely. No parking facilities, as it is for all these little villages so we had to park the car up the hill outside the local manor house and deer park.
